Michael Molenda

Associate Professor Emeritus

Michael Molenda retired from teaching in 2005 after spending 33 years as an associate professor in the School of Education at Indiana University, Bloomington. He earned his doctorate in instructional technology from Syracuse University and began his professorial work as an assistant professor with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1968. Dr. Molenda has held various positions within the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), ranging from chairman of the Awards Committee to sitting on the AECT Board of Directors. Currently, he still lives in Indiana and continues to research instructional design and author articles for academic journals. Some of his most cited work includes:
