Lisa Young is an educational technology leader, open education advocate, educator, and public speaker. Young was a tri-chair founding member for the Maricopa Millions Open Educational Resource project. This project uses free education materials and low-cost course textbooks to reduce the overall cost of education in certain degree and certificate programs. Young was a frequent speaker in the Tech Talks series that featured educational presentations similar in style and format to TED Talks.
