Steven M. Ross

Dr. Steven M. Ross has developed a prolific career as a writer and researcher in the fields of education and technology. He currently serves as a professor and Executive Director at the Center for Research & Reform at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He began his teaching career at the University of Memphis, where he was awarded special recognition for his teaching, writing, research, and community engagement. 

In addition to his classroom contributions, Dr.Ross also holds the title of Editor Emeritus of the research section of the Educational Technology Research and Development journal. He has written six textbooks and contributed over 100 journal articles on the confluence of educational technology and educational reform. As the director of the Center for Research and Reform in Education, Dr. Ross evaluates Ed Tech programs and research projects. He is currently working with the city of Syracuse to develop a community-wide approach to school reform.
