Roy D. Pea

Bio:

Dr. Roy Pea is the David Jacks Professor of Education and Learning Sciences at Stanford University and was appointed courtesy professor in Computer Science. Roy studied informal and formal learning and his research seeks to understand the social dimension of knowledge construction.

 He was the co-author of the 2010 National Education Technology Plan for the Department of Education of the United States and participated in works like How People Learn and Video research in Learning Science. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Education,  and the the American Educational Research Association.
