D. Randy Garrison
Professor of Education
Randy Garrisonn is a Professor Emeritus of Education at the University of Calgary and an educational researcher. The focus of Dr. Garrison's work has been on distance education, online and blended learning. He has explored the relationship with teaching, learning and the communication process.
He has authored, co-authored or edited fifteen books; 94 articles; 68 book chapters; 40 conference proceedings; and more than 100 academic presentations.

In 2009, he received an award for most outstanding achievement from the Sloan Consortium (Online Learning Consortium).
