Eleonora Faggiano
Elonora Faggiano, PhD.
Dr. Faggiano is an associate professor of mathematics and mathematics education at the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro) in Italy. Her research focuses mainly on teaching and learning, with technology, in mathematics education. She seeks ways to better teach and learn mathematics and to train mathematics educators. Dr. Faggiano graduated with a Mathematics degree in 1999 from the University of Bari. She received her certification to teach mathematics in 2001. In March of 2005, she received her PhD in Computer Science from the same university. Her dissertation, in Educational Technology on Informatics applied to Mathematics Education, was titled A framework for supporting Web-based Cooperative Learning.
