Michael Matera
Michael Mater is an author, speaker, podcaster, YouTuber, and 6th grade social studies teacher in Milwaukee, WI. Michael's main focus is gamification in education and helped found EMC2 Learning, a professional development resource for teachers interested in game inspired instructional design and engagement in the classroom.
He is the host of WellplayED where he gives weekly tips for gamification in practice.
Michael was named a leader by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) in 2015.
