Whitney Kilgore
Co-Founder and Chief Academic Officer of iDesign; Adjunct Professor at University of North Texas
Dr. Kilgore is an instructional designer who was a K-12 teacher embedding computerized technology into classroom learning and then was the technology resource for educators. She later was the instructional designer and learning management systems trainer for Ellucian and Director of Academic Technology at the College of South Nevada. She received her B.S. in Education and M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. In 2016, Dr. Kilgore received her Ph.D. in Learning Technologies at the University of North Texas. Her research interests focus on providing quality distance higher education and massive open online courses (MOOCs). She currently has a leadership role at iDesign among online designers.
