Dirk Ifenthaler
Professor of Learning, Design, and Technology
Dr. Dirk Ifenthaler currently is a Professor and Chair of Learning, Design, and Technology at the University of Mannheim in Germany. He also serves as the Deputy Chair of Data Science in Education, Learning, and Teaching at Curtin University in Australia. Dr. Ifenthaler held the positions of Professor and Director at the Centre for Research in Digital Learning and Technology at Deakin University. He also held positions as Professor for Applied Teaching and Learning Research at the Univeristy of Postham, Germany and Manager of Applied Research and Learning Analytics at Open Universities, Australia. Dr. Ifenthaler is the editor-in-chief of the journal Technology, Knowledge, and Learning and senior editor for the Journal of Applied Research in Education.
