Shirley Alexander was a Professor of Learning Technologies a the University of Technology Sydney, where she previously was the director of the Institute for Interactive Media and Learning, and dean of the Faculty of Education. She was internationally known for her research on the use of information and communication technologies in education. Alexander completed her university degree at Macquarie University.
