Kurt Squire
Kurt D. Squire is a professor at The University of California, Irvine and Co-Director of the Games + Learning + Society Center in the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery. He completed a PhD in Instructional Systems Technology in 2004 at Indiana University. His research interest covers the potential of game-based technologies in education. He also focuses on how to design digital educational environments by integrating research and theory on digital media with theories of situated cognition.
