Sara Dexter
Associate Professor of Education
Dr. Sara Dexter is an Associate Professor of Education at the University of Virginia. Her experience as a school administrator and training in the Kegan lineage of constructive developmental theory has helped guide her research interests and perspectives while teaching. In the administration and teaching program, she focuses primarily on integrating technology at the classroom and district levels. She was most recently granted a $6 million dollar grant to research case-based learning environments. Most recently, Dr. Dexter was awarded the 2023 UCEA Edwin M. Bridges Award for original and outstanding work to prepare educators.
