Shanna Smith Jaggars
Shanna Smith Jaggars serves as the Assistant Vice Provost at Ohio State University. Her role includes identifying challenges to student success, developing solutions, assessing the impact of student experiences, and facilitating systemic improvements. She also holds the position of Research Affiliate with the Community College Research Center and has authored numerous articles on student success.
She also serves as the Senior Associate Editor for the journal Online Learning. In 2015, she published "Redesigning America's Community Colleges: A Clearer Path to Student Success" through Harvard University Press. Her book underscores the importance of redesigning community colleges to enhance student services and instruction through both online and face-to-face models.
