John M. Keller was a professor of instructional design and educational psychology at Syracuse University and Florida State University. He retired from Florida State University in 2010. He received his PhD in instructional systems technology from Indiana University Bloomington in 1974.
He is well known for his work with ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction model of instructional design.
