Chareen Snelson

Dr. Chareen Snelson is an Associate Professor and Associate Department Chair at the Educational Technology Department of Boise State University. She holds a BS in Secondary Education and an MA and Ed.D in Education Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Snelson started her career teaching Science and Math to sixth and seventh graders in a small-town middle school. She is currently the program coordinator for three online graduate certificates and an online master's degree program at Boise. She has more than two decades of experience designing and teaching online graduate-level courses on topics such as website design, multimedia, YouTube in education, leadership, and qualitative research methods. Her research interests include gamification, quest-based learning, scoping reviews, and qualitative research methods.
