Neil Heffernan

Bio:

Neil T. Heffernan is involved in educational data mining and leads the Assistments System platform. This platform helps improve teaching through real-time feedback for both students and teachers. This platform was developed at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and it allows teachers to assign classwork while offering students instant feedback and providing teachers with live reports to monitor progress. 

He has published over 70 papers in educational data mining, with over 20 focusing on optimizing student learning.
