Punya Mishra

Punya Mishra is currently the Director of Innovative Learning Futures at Arizona State University's Learning Engineering Institute and a professor at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. He has previously served at Michigan State University where he was the director of an award winning MA in Educational Technology Program. He is considered one of the top 50 most influential scholars influencing educational policy with over 62,000 citations, 200 published articles, 5 edited books and over $11 million in grant funding secured. Punya is one of the cofounders of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) model which is used to evaluate and characterize teachers that effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning. As well as being recognized for his accomplishments for educational innovation he is interested in life, the universe and everything.
