Paul Kirschner
Emeritus Professor (Educational Psychology)
Paul Kirschner is an emeritus professor of psychology at Open University of the Netherlands. He is internationally known for his expertise in the fields of educational psychology and instructional design. He is past President of the International Society for the Learning Sciences and former member of the Dutch Educational Council. He is also a member of the Scientific Technical Council of the Foundation for University Computing Facilities, chief editor of Journal of Computer Assisted Learning and associate editor of Computers in Human Behaviour. His work has appeared in 671 publications, on subjects related to Instructional Design, Educational Psychology, and Educational Technology.
