Gilly Salmon
Consultant and Facilitator
Gilly Salmon is currently a consultant, but previously was a Professor of Innovation and Transformation at the University of Liverpool Management School and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Education Innovation, at the University of Western Australia in Sydney. She received her Ph.D from Open University in the UK. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of online learning, but she is best known for developing the "Five Stage Model" of e-learning, which has been widely adopted in online education. This model provides a scaffolded framework for learning online that aims to increase learning and interactivity. From this model she coined the term "e-tivities." Some of her publications include:
