Linda Nilson

Dr. Linda Nilson is Director Emerita and was the Founding Director for the Office of Teaching Effectiveness and innovation at Clemson University. She received a doctoral degree (PhD) in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She currently serves on the Editorial Board for the journal of Innovative Higher Education and serves on advisory boards for the South Carolina Consortium of Educational Developers and Magna Publications. Dr. Nilson facilitates a variety of workshops and keynote speeches on a wide breath of faculty development topics. She has also authored Teaching at Its Best: A Research-Based Resource for College Instructors and Specifications Grading: Restoring Rigor, Motivating Students and Saving Faculty Time.
