Michelle D. Estes

Michelle D. Estes is a Professor of Educational Technology at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She has a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology, Learning and Cognition Cognate from the University of Georgia, a Masters of Education degree in Instructional Technology through the Business Applications Track from Valdosta State University, and B. F. A. degree in Theatre, Telecommunications Emphasis from Valdosta State University. Her work includes a focus on curriculum design and enrollment growth, but she also works on grant-funded projects, peer-reviewed articles, and collaborative online learning. Her achievements include the JMU COE Distinguished Teacher Award, the COE Service Award, and the COE Essie Glass Award for faculty accomplishments.
